| ReefLifeEliteR Iron+TM is present in natural sea water in moderately low concentration (0.01-0.1ppm) It is present predominantly as iron and to a lesser extent as ferric. It has several important biological functions and our results show that a too low iron concentration can slow down growth of corals and coralline algae and plant. Iron also has some positive effect in buffering natural sea water especially in the range of pH 8.1-8.3. In most aquariums, Iron is depleted very slowly yet steadily. In some aquariums, Iron is present in a very high concentration. This is due to use of bad quality salt or impure supplements. ReefLifeEliteR Iron+TM contains a chelated form of iron which will stay available in the system for long periods of time, supplying algae in a timed release fashion, as needed. It contains no fertilizers which can spur unwanted hair algae or other undesirable growths. ReefLifeEliteR Iron+TM is a proven performer in the difficult marine environment!. |
