Due to its high degree of microporosity, just one gram of PetLifeElite^R GAC GranularActivatedCarbon^TM has a surface area in excess of 800m2 (8,600 sq ft)
PetLifeElite^R GAC GranularActivatedCarbon^TM is commonly used to adsorb natural organic compounds, taste and odor compounds, and synthetic organic chemicals in water treatment. PetLifeElite^R GAC GranularActivatedCarbon^TM is made from organic materials with high carbon contents from coconut shell.
PetLifeElite^R GAC GranularActivatedCarbon^TM typically has a diameter ranging between 3 to 6 mm and an apparent density ranging between 25 and 31 lb/ft³

PetLifeElite^R MediaBag^TM has a hole size of 200 microns, suitable for inserting filter media. which will not allow dust to enter and shorten the lifespan of the media. Our media bags will maximize media performance.
But for size 1000 ml or more, we recommend using with fluidised bed reactor so we don't give media bags.


Materials :
Coconut shell charcoal 100% Contain no phosphoric acid.

Directions :
Rinse with warm water to flow through (do not rub together) before use. Canister filtration : Load carbon into filter cartridge as directed by filter manufacturer. Passive filtration : Place Carbon loosely in an 500um mesh filter bag and locate in an area of pump. Fluidised bed reactor filtration : Load carbon into fluidised bed reactor as directed, adjust maximum flow rate by the carbon floating at 3/4 of chamber. Replaced on noticed yellow water. The first used can treat up to 3-4 weeks. The second used can treat up to 6-8 weeks. After that can treat up to 3 months.
