Informations : |
PetLifeEliteR PFO PelletsFerricOxideTM is highly porous and stick-shaped to promote easy water flow through and around it, thereby increasing both its efficiency and capacity. Controls algae growth : Phosphates are a primary nutrient source for many types of algae. By removing excess phosphates from the water, PetLifeEliteR PFO PelletsFerricOxideTM can help prevent algae overgrowth and keep the aquarium looking clean and healthy. Promotes coral growth : High levels of phosphate can inhibit coral growth and reduce their coloration. By keeping phosphate levels low, PetLifeEliteR PFO PelletsFerricOxideTM can help promote better coral growth and enhance their vibrant colors. Improves water quality : Excess phosphates can lead to poor water quality, which can be harmful to fish and other aquatic organisms. By removing phosphates, PetLifeEliteR PFO PelletsFerricOxideTM can help maintain a more stable and healthy aquatic environment. Reduces maintenance : By reducing the growth of algae, PetLifeEliteR PFO PelletsFerricOxideTM can help reduce the amount of maintenance required to keep the aquarium clean. This can save time and effort for aquarium owners. Freshwater & Saltwater suitable. |

Materials : | |
Fe2O3 (Ferric Oxide) 100% PetLifeEliteR PFO PelletsFerricOxideTM is made by processing natural iron ore and then heating it to a high temperature in the presence of oxygen, which causes the iron to oxidize and form a highly reactive surface area. |

Directions : | |
Choose the appropriate amount of PetLifeEliteR PFO PelletsFerricOxideTM based on the size of your aquarium and the level of phosphate you need to remove. 1 gram of PetLifeEliteR PFO PelletsFerricOxideTM can be removed 0.69 gram of phosphate in 1 liter of water per day. 125g (125ml) per <250 liters (mesh filter bag included) 250g (250ml) per <500 liters (mesh filter bag included) 500g (500ml) per <1,000 liters (mesh filter bag included) 1,000g (1,000ml) per <2,000 liters (mesh filter bag included) 5kg (5 liters) per <10 tons (does not include a mesh filter bag) 10kg (10 liters) per <20 tons (does not include a mesh filter bag) 20kg (20 liters) per <40 tons (does not include a mesh filter bag) 1) Rinse the PetLifeEliteR PFO PelletsFerricOxideTM thoroughly in freshwater to remove any dust or debris. You can do this by placing the PetLifeEliteR PFO PelletsFerricOxideTM in a fine mesh filter bag and running it under tap water until the water runs clear. 2) Place the PetLifeEliteR PFO PelletsFerricOxideTM in a media reactor or filter bag and position it in your aquarium's filtration system, such as a sump or canister filter. 3) Start with a slow flow rate and adjust it gradually over several days to avoid any sudden changes in water chemistry. 4) Monitor phosphate levels and adjust the dosage as needed to maintain the desired level. You can use a phosphate test kit to measure phosphate levels in the aquarium. Replace the PetLifeEliteR PFO PelletsFerricOxideTM periodically, typically every 1-3 months depending on the level of phosphate in the aquarium. |
